The Melograno is a charming Tuscan farmhouse located in a magnificent setting overlooking the hills of Massarosa, just a few kilometers from the sea. It offers a unique stay with panoramic views of Lake Massaciuccoli and the Tuscan coast.

Situated amidst the beautiful hills of Massarosa, facing some of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and Corsica, The Melograno is the main house of the enchanting and ancient complex “Casale Belvedere.”

It comfortably accommodates up to 9 people, offering privacy and exclusivity. Guests can enjoy a part of the park reserved for their use, two private parking spaces, and a refined swimming pool with a unique view of the ancient Pieve di San Pantaleone, a beautiful and fascinating place.

INTERIORS

The Melograno is the main property of the ancient Casale Belvedere, centrally located with spectacular views of the Versilia coast, the sea, and the Tuscan archipelago with its splendid islands. Upon entering through the main gate and crossing the garden, you arrive at the front door.

Inside, the atmosphere is beautiful and bright, with panoramic views of the coast and carefully curated shabby chic-style furnishings. It features two sea-view double bedrooms (one with an additional single bed), two twin bedrooms (which can also be configured as doubles), and two spacious bathrooms, perfect for comfortably accommodating up to 9 people.

The living area includes a living room with easy access to the exclusive garden, a large fully equipped kitchen with a second dining table and a breakfast area.

Staying at Casale Belvedere is a journey back in time: a historic property with incredible charm, originally dating back to the 12th century but recently renovated to create various accommodations dedicated to our guests.

EXTERIORS

The Melograno boasts a large, exclusive sea-view garden with a gazebo and comfortable sun loungers, where guests can relax on warm summer days or enjoy pleasant evenings tasting excellent Tuscan and local wines or cooking with the barbecue.

Outside of this exclusive area, the large park offers various zones, including a splendid panoramic terrace with comfortable sofas and armchairs where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset aperitif, a play area with ping pong, and other pleasant surprises. This area is shared with the other accommodations at Casale Belvedere, as is the stunning swimming pool, recently built with an assigned and reserved space for The Melograno.

The house is located in a unique setting, in the village of Pieve a Elici, just a few dozen meters from the stunning Romanesque church of San Pantaleone, which has watched over the plain below since the 11th century.

From the house and the park, you can enjoy incomparable panoramas: the entire coast from Livorno to Forte dei Marmi, and on clear days, the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago; the romantic Lake Massaciuccoli, a favorite spot of Maestro Giacomo Puccini, where he composed his most famous operas; and you can also admire the unique panorama of some peaks of the Apuan Alps.
